2007 Web Search Trends

Before I start making predictions for 2008, I thought I'd take a look back over 2007 and one of the best ways of doing this is on Google Zeitgeist.
Although some of it is quite US focussed, it's interesting to see how searches related to what took the headlines last year (think Britney & Paris!) and what's hot such as the iPhone and Facebook. It's interesting nonetheless and if you want to delve further, take a look at Google Trends and find out what's hot in search now.

Yahoo's Buzz also shows what's popular on Yahoo! search and who & what's going up and down their leaderboard. Should while away a few minutes if you're finding it difficult to get back into work mode!

As for me, I'm spending today and most of the next couple of days with a paintbrush in my hand, so that I can finish decorating my office before I start back proper on Monday!
